LP Promma (Lersi Promma, Ruesi Promma) of Wat HinPhanangkhawy (Ubon Rachatani) - Luang Phor Promma

LP Promma(Lersi Promma, Ruesi Promma) of Wat HinPhanangkhawy (Ubon Rachatani), is one of Thailand top famous Monks of the Isaan region. He ordained at the age of 12, and learned how to make Buddha Magic at a very young age with Somdej Lun, a Khmer Master of Jampa Sak. He studied for 6 years under this Master, who passed away at this point. After the death of his teacher in Buddha Magic, Luang Phor Promma wandered around the country in Tudong practice in the jungles alone. It was during this time that Lersi Promma was able to meet and study under the great Arahant Luang Phu Mun Puratto.
 
After studying with LP Mun, Luang Phor Promma then went to live in a Cave on the peak of a mountain called Khao Kway, and he remained there practicing in solitary for a period of 45 years. After this, he crossed the border into Thailand in the year 2533, where he went to stay in a cave where he had noticed that many wild animals would come and cross paths and coexist together. He stayed in this cave practicing, and his merits and renunciation became so well known that even Somdej Prataep Radtana Rachasuda Siam Boroma Rachachonanee (the Royal Princess), traveled twice to pay reverence and offerings to Ruesi Promma.
 
Luang Phor Promma had helped the local folks of the forest and farmers with various projects to develop the area and to preserve the wild forest and natural habitat. LP Promma of Samnak Songk Tham Suan Hin Gaew (Phaa Nang Loi), Poo Grajiaw mountain, Ban Dong Na, Sri Mueang Mai, Ubon Rachatani, passed away from heart disease in B.E. 2545 at the respectable age of 105 years old For all people who worship the Lersi or practice Ruesi-ism, or collect Lersi/Ruesi amulets are very familiar with the Ruesi Loi Ongk Statues of Luang Phor Promma as being the finest Lersi maker(LP Promma). Made available and created by a Monk who has practiced in the way of the Lersi/Ruesi for throughout his monkhood, living in caves, stripped bare of luxuries and comforts, and spending the dark hours in solitude and meditation in the forest caves. A Lersi/Ruesi amulet by a true Lersi/Ruesi - Lersi Promma / Ruesi Promma is the name which people address him.

LP Promma is very well known to make extremely powerful Lersi/Ruesi amulets, and this is due to the fact that, as he was wandering on Tudong, he learned Wicha from a Lersi/Ruesi who was living in the forest. This was why LP Promma is inclined to create and chanted so many famous editions of Lersi/Ruesi amulets (when we talk about lersi/ruesi amulets, the first person we think of is LP Promma(Lersi Promma) for it is the Lersi/Ruesi which he consecreted makes him so famous in the amulet world) Most editions of his Lersi/Ruesi amulets were made from sacred herbal powders and pollens.

LP PAE - LUANG PHOR PAE OF WAT PIKULTHONG SINGBURI

LP Pae was born in B.E. 2448, in Singburi Province, Thailand and started learning Pali at a young age of 11 under the tutelage of Arjan Pan and Arjan Pom in Wat Phikulthong. 2 years later, he moved to Bangkok to further his studies under Prah Arjan Som before returning to Wat Phikulthong at the age of 16 to be ordained as a Novice monk.

After having passed all the relevant exams and serving diligently at the temple, LP Pae was appointed as the Abbot of Wat Pikulthong at a very young age of 26 in B.E.2474, 6 years later with the help of Luang Phor See of Wat Praphrand, Luang Phor Pae chanted his first batch of amulets to help finance the reconstruction of the temple.

From that onwards Luang Phor Pae became a well known monk/teacher who create good amulets after Jackie Chan fall of the very high level of a clock tower during the filming of Project A movie with only external scratches sustained while wearing LP Pae Phra Somdej Than Saem B.E. 2517 Rainbow, later known as the Jackie Pim Somdej in the market.

In the past, there are many young children that parents cannot afford to raise them or send them to schools, Luang Phor Pae as an abbot of Wat Pikulthong took in all the children that needed help. He raise them up and provided education for them and they become like temple's children. Luang Phor Pae also went to teach young children in schools when he was staying in Wat Rakang temple during his younger days.

Luang Phor Pae's amulets are kept by many Thai people especially in Singburi and Bangkok areas as they respect him alot for the things that he have done for them. Especially the young children that grew up to be adults, they also kept many of LP Pae amulets for respect to their teacher who cared for them since young. Luang Phor Pae created many Somdej and other holy amulets for the raising of funds for hospitals, charitable causes like building roads, building schools and also to help the needy.

As for LP Pae Somdej amulets, he has succeeded in using Jinapanjara Gatha(Chinabarnchorn Katha)to bless them. When we say he succeed, the actual meaning is that all his Somdej amulets which he blessed with Chinabarnchorn (Jinapanjara Katha), followers can feel the effects of Strong Metta Maha Niyom when they wear it. There are so many successful people and businessman that wears his LP Pae Somdej Pae Sorng Pan or Somdej Pae Sam Pan felt the great effects too.

In the past when Luang Phor Pae starts to prepare for the consecration of his amulets, LP Pae will always go to Wat Mai alone (a temple near to Wat Rakang) for paying respect and connect spiritually with Somdej Toh and he will meditate there for many days without food and water before going back to start his consecretion ceremony at Wat Pikulthong temple.

LP Pae passed on at the age of 94 in BE 2542 and spent more than 70 years in monk hood. A commemorative funeral service was held at Wat Pikulthong Singburi under the patronage of the Thai Royal Family amongst several other dignitaries.

With great merits, Luang Phor Pae's fame continued to spread to all parts of the world even after he has monarat for more than 10years. Above is a superb beautiful, rare antique and precious Somdej Toh Ajahn Seng(Somdej Toh Teacher) Phra Khun Paen Som Chedi Kru Wat Ghutitong B.E. 2411. Wat Ghutitong is an ancient temple built more than 400 years ago. During the reign of Rama 3, Somdej Phra Buddhacharn Toh(Somdej Toh) of Wat Rakhang, visited his teacher Luang Phor Saeng(Ajahn Saeng) at Wat Ghutitong and stayed for awhile where he created this series of  amulets together with his teacher to be placed in the chedi(kru) of Wat Ghutitong for future expansion funds/uses of the temple. Like many of his amulets that were not blessed at the major Bangkok temples, these pims never attained the same noteriety and value like Somdej Wat Rakhang, Wat Bangkhunprom.

Above is a real geniune Somdej Toh Phra Khun Paen Som Chedi Kru Wat Ghutitong taken from the temple when they open the Chedi(Kru) for building the new hall for a old Buddha in Wat Ghuitong.
